Hey everyone. Hope you've been doing well.

1) VISUALS -

I started re-working the lineart for the main character. I tried drawing him at least one other time, but he just looked weird. So now I'm trying again.

2) AUDIO -

I started looking for sound effects before adding any music to the game, but it was super time-consuming. Whenever I looked for a specific sound effect, I needed to compare each possible 'finalist' and make sure the volume, audio type, and bit depth were okay since I wanted minimal editing and re-saving the tracks in Audacity before inserting them into the game. And even then I would still need to edit them to fade in, out, amplify, or reduce the sound.

Since looking for every single sound effect was time-consuming, I focused on background music instead. Months ago, I listened to a bunch of free music from various websites and listed songs that could suit the game well. I implemented a few songs before to test some key events, and now I'm working on choosing the music that will actually play. I took notes on the tempo, instruments, and general mood of the songs and trying to match that stuff with each scene.

3) CREDITS -

I finished crediting all of the backgrounds that I'm using. I'm also creating a list of credits for the sound effects and music used.

TO-DO LIST:

1) Create poses/expressions for sprite
     - Main character
     - One of Character 2's events - Minor character - Maybe poses/expressions?
2) Implement the dancing sprite solution?
3) Sound effects
     - Find, bookmark, choose, download
     - Edit if needed
     - Add/test
4) Music
     - Choose (find others if needed)
     - Edit if needed
     - Add/test
5) Credits
     - Determine which sites I used assets from
     - Then finish making official credit screens
     - Include a document with credits for all assets
6) Test build (somehow)
7) Check for continuity (see list of conditions I might need to add)
